Project Development
Identifying, structuring and carrying energy projects to the point where they become financeable.
Development is risk removal
An energy project rarely fails on a technical obstacle. It fails on bankability: the ability to demonstrate, with documents, that revenues are secured, that risks sit with the parties able to carry them, and that the asset will last its design life.
Our role as developer is to remove those uncertainties one by one, in the right order, before going to the financing market. We act as co-developer, Owner's Engineer or Lender's Technical Advisor — we do not finance the projects ourselves.
Origination → Studies → Structuring → Due Diligence → Financial Close
Origination
Opportunity identification, regulatory and tariff framework analysis, resource qualification.
Studies
Resource, yield, grid connection, land, environmental and social constraints.
Structuring
Contractual structure, risk allocation, project vehicle, partner selection.
Due diligence
Review of assumptions, EPC offers and operating plan; constructability and bankability.
Financial close
Lender package, satisfaction of conditions precedent, preparation for execution.
What we put on the table
Technical due diligence
Independent review of yield assumptions, EPC offers, the O&M plan and the schedule.
Bankability
Shaping the elements a lender or insurer requires, and closing out the reserves they will raise.
Structuring
Risk allocation between parties, project vehicle, contract architecture.
Partnerships and co-development
Development calls for capabilities no single party holds: land, market, technology, capital, execution.
